We understand that a student will excel and improve with consistency, and that progress takes time. We want to avoid the fatigue that appears in a short intensive or workshop but we want to make sure you do enough to feel a difference. Each monthly session will include 6 days of training with a day off in between. We will explore improvisation through research and tasks, learn Ate9 repertory from Danielle Agami and cast members and have daily class. This 6 month series will allow individual attention for each participant. Enjoy an intimate group of 12-15 participants as we embark on this 6 month journey!
Participants will also receive:
-1 free ticket to an Ate9 production in LA
-3 passes for company class during 2022
-50% off all Ate9 merch
-10% off all future workshops
(Please be prepared to submit a 1 min choreography video, a 1 min improvisation video and a short interview of why you'd like to participate in the 6 month series.)
$500 per month Paid in 2 installments of $1500
Travel and accommodations if needed are not included and are the responsibility of the participant

What inspired me the most about Ate9’s summer intensive is Danielle’s personal care for the dancers. She makes a heartfelt effort to make sure everyone who attends is seen and challenged. Her passion for dance comes through in every
rehearsal and having the chance to learn from her and explore the world of ate9
is a fascinating and beautiful experience."
The Ate9 summer intensive has been three weeks of complete mind/body transformation. Not only have I found new ways of moving but Danielle has changed the way I approach dance forever. This program truly gives dancers the tools they need to be interesting, consistent, and thought provoking which are all vital qualities a professional dancer requires to be successful.
Throughout these past three weeks with Ate9, I have been able to research, embody and explore many characters, emotions, and states of being within the studio walls. This exploration has heightened my sense of experimentation and investigation of movement and relationships, and makes me feel as though I am dancing in a brand new body. It’s absolutely life-changing. The small group sizes have allowed for increased personal feedback which has exponentially grown each individual dancer within the course. I am incredibly thankful for all of the knowledge shared by Danielle and her company members.
