Jobel Medina is an active performer based in the Greater Los Angeles area. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from California State University, Long Beach. Jobel’s recent performances include Tino Sehgal, Kate Wallich, San Francisco Symphony, No One Art House, Andrew Winghart. In the past, he has worked for Whyteberg, Acts of Matter, Keith Jonson. He also appeared in music videos for Anderson Pak, Mac Miller, Noah Cyrus, Watsky. |

Cacia LaCount (Joined September 2018)
Cacia LaCount is from Boston, MA. She graduated from The Boston Conservatory in 2016 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance Performance as a Jan Veen Scholar. She has supplemented her training at workshops and intensives including The Juilliard School, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Doug Varone and Dancers, Gallim Dance, and Ate9 Dance company and Springboard Danse Montreal. Cacia has performed works by Robert Battle, Uri Sands, Dwight Rhoden, Merce Cunningham, Pam Tanowitz, Andrea Miller, Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Micaela Taylor and Danielle Agami. In her professional career, Cacia has had the pleasure of dancing with Heather Stewart Dance, Lorraine Chapman The Company, Boston Dance Theater and moved to LA in 2018 to dance with Ate9. |

Paige Amicon (Joined September 2018)
Paige Amicon is a dance artist and teacher originally from Glenmoore, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under Susan Jaffe with a BFA in Contemporary Dance. She also holds a high school degree from UNCSA with a concentration in ballet. There she performed works by Twyla Tharp, José Limón, Trisha Brown, Lucinda Childs, Merce Cunningham, and Helen Simoneau. Since moving to Los Angeles, she has had a wonderfully adventurous freelance career. Performance experience includes work by Danielle Agami, Merce Cunningham, Yuval Sharon, Sophia Stoller, and Mallory Fabian. Paige enjoys extending her research through dance education and has had the pleasure of teaching students in Philadelphia, Winston Salem, and Los Angeles. |

Montay Romero (Joined September 2018)
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Montay Romero has been an avid participant in the arts from a young age. Heavily involved in music, Montay sought further forms of self expression which he had the opportunity to explore while attending the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. After coincidently stumbling into a dance studio on campus, he soon found himself actively seeking dance education, which he continued at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA where he received his BFA in dance. Romero, who was originally accepted to the University as a vocal major, changed his path upon arrival. He chose to honor the strong calling and deep connection he felt towards dance. Currently a resident of Los Angeles, California, Montay is continually refining his relation to dance as an art form, a means of expression, and an opportunity to explore self. |

Evan Sagadencky (Joined August 2020)
Los Angeles native Evan Sagadencky is a YoungArts alumni and began his training at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) where he performed works by Jiří Kylián, Hans Van Manen and Don Martin. Evan is currently a senior at the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, where he trained with William Forsythe, Jodie Gates, Bret Easterling and Victor Quijada as well as performing works by William Forsythe, Alejandro Cerrudo, Sonya Tayeh, Barak Marshall, Andrew Winghart among others. Evan regularly choreographs and collaborates with his colleagues, which takes form in music videos, performances-for-stage, multi-media installation performances, as well as multi-faceted projects. At the core of his endeavors, Evan aims to cultivate sustainable, non-hierarchical and anti-racist spaces in any and every environment he immerses himself in. |
Bronte Mayo
As a native of the Pacific Northwest, Bronte Mayo began her formal training in Seattle through the preparatory department at Cornish College of the Arts. She moved to New York City to continue her education at The Juilliard School where she received her BFA in Dance in 2021. She has performed in several iconic modern dance pieces by Martha Graham, Paul Taylor, and José Limón, as well as having worked on new creations with Ohad Naharin, Bryan Arias, and Andrea Miller. Outside of New York, Bronte has danced original work in the Netherlands by Dimo Milev, performed a solo creation by Bret Easterling in Miami, and danced with Wade Madsen at the Northwest New Works Festival in Seattle. In 2017 she was also named National Young Arts Foundation winner in Modern dance. In June of 2021, Bronte made the move to Los Angeles where she continues her professional development as a company dancer and cast member with Ate9. |
Jordyn Santiago (guest artist)
Originally from North Carolina, Jordyn Santiago is a poet, musician, dancer and choreographer currently based in New York City. Jordyn grew up training at The Dance Theatre of Jacksonville, under the direction of Debra Baile and Melissa Jackson. She has traveled and trained across the United States as well as abroad in Israel and Europe. Jordyn has studied with artists such as Jiri Pokorny, Tilman O’Donnell, Medhi Walerski, Adi Salant, Bryan Arias, Diana Matos and Jermaine Spivey. She is currently dancing for companies: Tedted Performance Company directed by Teddy Tedholm, Mary Grace McNally + Artists, and Freemove Dance directed by Jenn Freeman. Jordyn has toured as a backup dancer with Los Angeles based band ‘Half Alive’ choreographed by The JA Collective and has created new works with Bryan Arias, along side of the Arias Company. She had the opportunity of dancing with choreographers Dana Wilson, Ebony Williams and Christopher Scott for the new motion picture production of ‘In The Heights’ with Warner Brothers Entertainment. Jordyn has taught at several well-regarded institutions and collectives, including Peridance Capezio Center, Brickhouse and The University of the Arts. Most recently Jordyn had the oppertunity to perform in an Opera titled ‘Prism’ under the direction of Beth Morrison Projects at the Lincoln Center in Washington D.C. Jordyn is hopeful, and ready to push past the boundaries that have been created in the world through the use of her art and looks forward to doing so alongside of the Ate9 company.

Nat Wilson (guest artist)
Nat grew up in Michigan where he first studied dance with Ballet Chelsea. He continued his training at various ballet schools around the United States before joining the Joffrey Ballet Studio Company in 2013. He danced with Visceral Dance Chicago before moving to Israel to join Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in 2016. While with KCDC, he had the opportunity to perform and teach workshops around the world, including South Korea, Colombia, and India. He moved back to the States in January of 2020 where he currently works as a freelance dancer.
